ADMISSION INTO PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN CUSTOMS AND IMMIGRATION ADMINISTRATION, PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN ADVERTISING & PROMOTIONS MANAGEMENT AND PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN PROTOCOLS AND PASSAGES’ OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT. 2013/2014 ACADEMIC SESSION (PART-TIME. SATURDAYS ONLY)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into part-time programme in:
1. Professional Diploma in Customs and Immigration Administration
2. Professional Diploma in Advertising and Promotions Management.
3. Professional Diploma in protocols and Passages’ Operations Management.
1. PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN CUSTOMS AND IMMIGRATION ADMINISTRATION
Entry Requirements
i. WASC/SSC, GCE (O’Level or NECO) or equivalent with credits in at least three subjects and two passes. One of the
three credits must be English Language.
ii. First Degree of the University or equivalent qualification of any other comparable institution approved by Senate,
ii. Mature candidates – (30 years and above) who have acquired at least five 5 years relevant experience in related fields but do not have four credits may be considered.

2. PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONS’ MANAGEMENT
Entry Requirements
i. WASC/SSC/GCE (O’Level) or equivalent with credits in at least four subjects including English Language.
ii. First Degree HND, OND or NCE Holders or equivalent qualification of any other comparable institution approved by Senate is an advantage.
iii. Mature candidates - (30 years and above) who have acquired at least 5years relevant experience in related fields but who do not have the requirements in A & B may be considered.
3. PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN PROTOCOL AND PASSAGES OPERATIONS’ MANAGEMENT
Entry Requirements
i. WASC/SSC/GCE (O’Level) or equivalent with credits in at least four subjects including English Language.
ii. First degree HND, OND or NCE Holders or equivalent qualification of any other comparable institution approved by Senate is an added advantage.
iii. Mature candidates – (30 years and above) who have acquired at least five 5 years relevant experience in related fields but do not have four credits may be considered.

DURATION-12 months (Saturdays only) COMMENCEMENT DATE: January, 2014
COURSE FEES- Tuition: N50,000.00 Course Materials:N10,000.00 Medical: N 6,500.00
METHOD OF APPLICATION
GUIDELINES FOR COMPLETING THE APPLICATION FORM:
(i) Visit the Human Resources Development Centre Portal (hrdc.unilag.edu.ng)
Click on the “Application Form”.
(ii) Click the pre application form link and provide the required information. Submit to obtain a Payment Reference Number (Voucher). Candidates are expected to print out the Payment Reference Number (voucher) and proceed to the bank for payment of five thousand naira (N5,000.00) which is the cost of Application Form.
(iii) Make payment at any of the designated banks stated below:
· WEMA BANK PLC , ECO BANK PLC, ACCESS BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC at the University of Lagos Branches only.
(iv) After payment, return to Human Resources Development Centre Portal (hrdc.unilag.edu.ng) Click the Application link, then Application Form Link, login with Payment Reference Number as username and provide surname in lowercase as password.
(v) Click the Edit Application form link to fill the Application form and upload digital passport (jpeg format) which should not be more than 15kb in size and must be in white background. The acceptable dimension is: width- 235 pixels or 35mm, height- 314 pixels or 40mm (failure to comply with specified image format may lead to disqualification).
(vi) Click “SUBMIT FORM” button after filling the form completely; else click “DECLINE” button.
(vii) After submission, applicants are required to print the completed Application Form for submission at the Human Resources Development Centre Secretariat, in Room 104.
Submit the printed form along with two (2) sets of your Credentials.
Please Note
· If payment is not made within five (5) days of obtaining Payment Reference Number (voucher), the pre-application would be DECLINED. Applicants will then be expected to refill the pre-application form to obtain a new Payment Reference Number (voucher).

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS/COLLECTION OF ADMISSION LETTER
Completed application forms are to be returned to the Human Resources Development Centre Secretariat not later than
six weeks from the date of this advert.
Letter of Admission will not be posted to individual candidates. The admission list will be available on Human Resources Development Centre Portal (hrdc.unilag.edu.ng) and university of Lagos Website.
